What’s been happening:

After graduation in 1972, I moved to the Northern Virginia area, outside of Wash., DC and started a 27 year career in mapping, working for 1 1/2 years in private industry, then 25 years with the U.S. Dept. of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey. I took early retirement at age 49 and moved to Sarasota, FL where I've lived for the past 10 years. Retirement has worked well for me.
